Those rumors have since been confirmed, and the latest iteration of the Kobe line is sure to garner a distinct identity with its own built in ankle support. To quell the doubts of all those who hold on to the antiquated idea that hoops must be played in high-tops, Nike added streamlined, branded, ankle straps to the Nike Zoom Kobe VII.
