Derrick Rose Reviews His New Adidas adiZero Rose 2 Sneaker

As we mentioned a couple weeks ago, we’ve been pretty impressed with how Derrick Rose has grown as a player off the court during this NBA offseason. Last year, we all got to witness his growth on the court en route to an MVP season, but it really seems like the Chicago Bulls point guard has made a conscious effort recently to become a more likable guy when he’s not wearing a basketball jersey.

Case in point: The behind-the-scenes video we shared with you in that post a couple weeks ago and this new YouTube video that features D-Rose reviewing his own sneaker, the Adidas adiZero Rose 2. If you’ve seen the sneaker already, you’re not going to learn a ton about it in this video, which features Rose breaking down the different elements of it. But you are going to get to see Rose show off his personality a little bit for all of his fans.

You’re still not getting all of Rose and, from the looks of things, he’s still a little bit camera shy when he presses “Record” on the camera used to shoot this. But, Rose’s explanation of his sneaker makes us more likely to actually go out and grab a pair. He sounds like he believes in it and, therefore, it sounds like a sneaker that’s worth trying on if you’re a basketball player who relies on your speed on the court. Take a look for yourself and then go here to check out all of the official specs of the sneaker. You may not get the chance to see Rose wear these on the court anytime soon. But, hey: That doesn’t mean you can’t rock ‘em, right?
