Reportedly, Jessicahas already began shopping for baby clothes and decorating the nursery where her super privileged little princess will lay her head in a $14,500 crib.

Although Jessica is busy preparing for the arrival of her baby girl, she has yet to make an official announcement about her pregnancy. Reportedly, Jessica is hoping to strike a deal for $500,000 with a media outlet to go public with the news, but is said to be having trouble getting anyone to agree on the steep price tag. According to Ronn Torossian, President and CEO of 5WPR, although some celebrities are able to generate big bucks on the strength of their baby news, Jessica simply isn’t “hot” enough right now to demand such a huge payday. He told RadarOnline:

“The issue with Jessica Simpsonmaybe is that she simply hasn’t been ‘hot’ lately in terms of relevant, big celebrity occurrences. No big movie, hit album or A-list happening, and even though she’s an A-list celebrity…in this economy, media needs to know for $500,000 that something is a sure bet—and Simpson simply may not be seen as that today.”
