Jennifer Hudson is fighting off rumors that her three-year engagement to fiancé David Otunga is off. According to Star magazine:

“The American Idol alum, 30, and WWE star David Otunga—who have a 2-year-old son, David Jr.—are on the outs, clashing over Jennifer’s career obsession, commitment issues and reluctance to have more children.

‘They were going to tie the knot in August in Jennifer’s hometown of Chicago…but it’s not going to happen,’ an insider reveals.”

Rumors of David’s refusal to sign a prenuptial agreement have also cast doubt on whether or not the couple will make it down the aisle. Nevertheless, despite all the rumors and failed engagement talk, Hudson’s publicist told E! News of Star‘s scoop, “I can confirm that the story is not true.”

Personally, I’m still trying to figure out what it is about dude that caught Jennifer’s eye to begin with (he competed for the affection of Tiffany “New York” Pollard on national television for goodness sake), but if he makes her happy, then I hope it works out.
