The #Occupy Wall Street protests have inspired illustrator and designer Ryan Casey to launch comic strip parodies that call out the Hollywood elite. Called #OccupyHollywood, the comics take aim at the high-earning, self-entitled denizens of Hollywood, which he calls the “asshole %” (a hilarious reference to the top 1% of taxpayers who pay less taxes than the middle class).
Casey’s #OccupyHollywood comics have already taken aim at Lady Gaga, Anderson Cooper, Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan, Beyoncé and Jersey Shore‘s Snooki. I’m just waiting until he gets Sean “Diddy” Combs in his line of fire…pure hilarity! Check out some of the OccupyHollywood illustrations below:
Some of these were funny, but I found them misguided in targeting individuals like Chaz Bono and Anderson Cooper. Cooper came out publicly a while ago and Bono suffed for years before he underwent his sex change.
