Kiernan Shipka, 11, has become a breakout star of AMC’s hit show Mad Men. Her performance as troubled daughter Sally Draper easily holds its own in a cast of talented actors multiple times her age. And in a recent Funny Or Die video short, Shipka shows that she can mix tons of laughs with some painful (but equally hilarious) truths about the child acting business.
What did we learn?
Danielle Fishel(formerly Topanga from Boy Meets World) looks damn good, and she’s hilarious! By all conventional wisdom, she should be in Celebrity Rehab right now. I say it’s time for some well-placed, ironic guest spots for Fishel, and hopefully stage 2 (or 3) of her career.
Toddlers & Tiaras parents are attention-hungry sickos. We already knew this, but I didn’t know they are willing to mock themselves mercilessly if it means more attention. Just keep in mind that Eden Wood‘s mother must have been sitting right there on set, listening to every word, and had no problem with jokes about refusing to let her daughter “be a normal human being.” The elder Ms. Wood may think we’re laughing with her, but we’re not.
