That’s just marketing bullshit, trying to squeeze every last breath from Jobs to sell their phones. We’ll see how well they so post iPhone 5… if it really lives up to the hype.

If you look closely at Apple’s Q3 Income statement you will notice a $400 increase in Cost of Good sold. This increase betrays the decreasing costs that the industry was seeing post Japan recovery and softening economy. The Iphone 5 was finished by Steve before his death. It moved to production in September for the October launch. Legal actions with Samsung in the Hague prevented its release. As a result it was killed and written off in the Q3 income statement. It will reappear in Q1 as an entirely different product.
