In addition to being one of the hottest young emcees working on the scene today, and one of my personal favorite rhyme-smiths, Kendrick Lamarhas a noted penchant for style. If you’re unfamiliar with the Compton, California–based emcee, I suggest getting ahold of Section.80 and preparing yourself for Kendrick playing a formidable undercard alongside A$AP Rocky on Drake‘s upcoming tour. While Kendrick‘s flow and subject matter outpace his years, he seems very comfortable with a proprietary style. Kendrick took the stage recently in a simply stated basic outfit which has become his calling card. A non-descript hoodie was matched up with a fitted pair of black Chinos, camo hat, and a rugged pair of Air Jordan 6 Rings. The particular 6 Rings in question are the Air Jordan 6 Rings Winterized Wheats which bear more similiarity to boots than sneakers. While the outfit is pretty basic, the fit is on point, and the 6 Rings work as a sturdy standout piece. Get a better look at the kicks below, and don’t say I didn’t warn you about Kendrick Lamar.
