This Video Shows Why The West Needs To Step Up Its Game
A recent viral video showcases some of the unusual and impressive skills of Indian menial workers. And if this is what fast food employees are doing, I’m afraid to think of what ninja-like skills are possessed by the higher-ranking workers.
The video has gotten over 1.2 million views since August.
Googling “It Happens Only In India” sends back about 118,000,000 hits—it’s also the title of a popular Bollywood song from the 90s. I’m not sure if this is an organized meme or just a common saying, but the collective efforts have done a pretty amazing job of documenting the unique craziness and wonder of the world’s largest democracy.
Just imagine how quickly American unemployment would evaporate with those skills! There’s not a roboticized assembly line in the world that could be more precise than that bread-throwing-guy.
(Note: Despite the mad skills, unemployment in India is near 10%, even higher than in the U.S. But I have a feeling it won’t be like that for long.)
