Rapper Game must love what one of his hometown’s heroes is doing right now. Brandon Jennings just dropped his new Under Armour Micro G Bloodline signature sneaker in a “Compton Red” colorway that is designed to pay homage to his hometown of Compton.

For starters, the shoe is bright red. And, unless you’ve been sleeping under a rock for, well, your entire life, you know the connection between the city of Compton and the color red (Game, for the record, released his album, The R.E.D. Album, last summer). Between the leather and the reflective mesh, the red color really pops, too, which makes this an ideal sneaker for someone looking to make a very loud fashion statement.

Basically, BJ and Under Armour have a pretty good thing going on here. By keeping the design of the sneaker simple, the red looks really sharp and the small hits of white do, too. It’s one of the many reasons we expect these sneakers to pop up in a Game music video any minute now. And from the looks of them, we guarantee you won’t miss them when he does.
