Just like the show itself, the fashion at last night’s American Music Awards was all over the place.
Acts like Justin Bieber and John Legend came debonair in suits (or at least in Justin’s case, what resembled a suit), while their peers will.i.am and Soulja Boy looked as if they’d just arrived from a day at the mall. The ladies stuck to the script a little more, with fresh faces like Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift and veterans such as Mary J. Blige and Alanis Morrissette all opting for evening glam looks.
Jennifer Lopez and Nicki Minaj didn’t hit the red carpet but had arguably the most exciting performances on the night, while Minaj, Swift and Adele were the evening’s biggest winners, taking home 2-3 awards apiece.
