EXODesk: Is This Not The Coolest Computer You’ve Ever Seen?
Forget keeping up with the Joneses. More and more, I find myself trying to keep up with the Jetsons. I dream about the flying car, the robot maid, and the job that requires me to only push one button, for one hour, once a week. While we may be light years away from the birth of any of these technological advances, the new EXOdesk makes me feel like I’m already living in Orbit City.
Created by Canadian company EXOPC, the EXOdesk is a 40-inch transparent touchscreen that turns your desk essentially into a super-sized iPad. Designed to be placed right in front of your existing computer monitor, the EXOdesk is loaded with apps and widgets that can be accessed by the swish of your fingertip. The futurstic workspace will be available at the start of 2012 and will sell for a cool $1,299.
