Rihanna recently decided to give her fans a personal look inside her family life with her mom, younger brother and “Gran Gran” at home in Barbados.

The video is narrated by Jay-Z, who begins, “There’s nothing like family. These are the people who make you who you are.” The camera captures Ri Ri chilling in the house with her proud family, looking through old photo albums, report cards, newspaper articles and giving gifts, including a Cartier ring for her grandmother. It’s humble, refreshing footage of one of the world’s biggest stars in her natural environment.
