Everybody Loves B.o.B’s New adidas Originals Commercial
So, have you seen this yet? If not, it’s 30 seconds of B.o.B. rapping a remix to his song, “Epic,” while a bunch of sneakers from the adidas Originals Piping Pack flash across the screen. It’s a pretty simply concept really. Yet, I feel like I’ve seen about a dozen tweets in the last few days commenting on it. Where’s that new Bobby Ray album, Atlantic Records? It’s pretty clear the world needs that right now!
Anyway, this is a sneakers post—not a music post—so here’s what you need to know about the Piping Pack…It’s fresh! Got it? No? You want to know more? Okay, well, here goes: The sneakers included in the pack, like the Superstar 2, feature bright, vibrant colors set against the backdrop of a dark base to make them pop. Like your boy B.o.B., it’s a technique designed to make them stand out in the crowd.

They’re still all pretty basic. But the colored piping on them is a nice touch. If you’re an adidas fanatic—or just someone who enjoys putting a little color into the things you wear—they’re definitely worth a second look.
