World AIDS Day: Would You Wear A Condom Dress?!
Not since the chastity belt has a piece of fashion offered so much protection.
Nguyen Minh Tuan, a student at Van Lang University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, created a dress out of 700 condoms as part of his graduation project. Titled “Breaking The Condom Taboo,” Nguyen hopes his lovely latex concoction will “raise public awareness of sexually-transmitted diseases, educate people about methods of protection” and change the way Vietnamese people view sex and condoms.
“I made this project in the hope of raising the self-consciousness and awareness of Vietnamese people towards protecting their loved ones by avoiding STDs,” Tuan told VietnamNet.vn. “I want people to know about the function of the condom on health protection.”
Just in time for World Aids Day today, December 1st, you’d never guess that the flowy frock above is made completely out of rubbers. We are, however, consumed with trying to guess which brand of condoms were used for this sexy ensemble: Trojan? Lifestyles? Magnums? Durex? Whatever the origin, this dress definitely rubs us the right way.
