Hey, fellas, FakeGirlfriend has a question for you: Are you tired of being embarrassed by the fact that you don’t have a girlfriend? If so, FakeGirlfriend.co is here to the rescue.

FakeGirlfriend.co is a new free texting service that allows you to look cool around your friends with your super fine model girlfriend that no one has ever seen but who just so happens to text you every once in a while. FakeGirlfriend.co also claims to help you snag you future baby mama by making her jealous because studies show that women are more attracted to men that are already taken. Not sure when cheating became hot but we’ll roll with it for the purpose of this article.

So, how does it work? The software behind FakeGirlfriend.co is simple. Save the number, (212) 804-6979, in your phone under your fake girlfriend’s name. Let’s call her “Angelina.” I’ve always loved Angelina Jolie. But wait: Now that chick from Jersey Shoreyou know, the one that left in the first season and then came back in the second season and then left again—keeps popping in my head. Okay, let’s call her Giselle. I have only fond thoughts for Victoria’s Secret. So basically when you’re around friends or a cute chick in the club, text “Giselle” and she’ll text you back almost instantly.

Actual texts will vary but may include:

“I miss you, honey. xoxo. (:”,
“When are you going to come see me?!?! I miss you! :0)”,
“I’m lonely ;) ;) hehehe”,
“Why don’t you leave the boys and come hang out with me?”,
“I wish I was with you!!! (0:”,
“I just need someone to talk to… Call me?”,
“Thanks so much for the pics ;) I’ll send some soon (:”,
“I <3 you. xoxoxoxo. <3 <3 <3 <3″,
“Oh hai! (0:”,
“THANKS FOR THE FLOWERS!!!”

If you text “Giselle” back again you’ll even get a phone call. Despite it’s absurdity, FakeGirlfriend.co has 21,000 users and has made more than 13,000 calls to pathetic guys all over the States, which has come as quite the surprise to the site’s creator Ricky Robinett. “Initially I was under the belief that this was so stupid no one would ever use it,” Ricky told The Village Voice recently.  ”Now I’ve heard lots of people saying they use it for a variety of reasons—to make a girlfriend jealous, or because you’re just out with the guys, and everyone has a girl, and you’re feeling kind of left out.”

Ladies, don’t fret. Ricky promises FakeBoyfriend is on the way. And I’m thinking FakeBaby won’t be too far behind.
