Kevin Durant’s New Sneakers Make A Surprise Appearance On The Weather Channel
Like a summer shower, we definitely didn’t see this coming! Nike recently unveiled photos of the “Weatherman” colorway of Kevin Durant‘s new Nike Zoom KD IV sneaker. And sneakerheads and blogs weren’t the only ones who noticed. The Weather Channel also featured the sneakers in a segment that didn’t appear to be staged or part of any type of Nike campaign. (Folks who watch The Weather Channel? Not likely to wear the KDs!)
Anyway, you can see a clip of the sneaker’s appearance on the Weather Channel below. What do you think of it? As I’ve said a couple of times on Dr. Jay’s Live now, I’m not enamored by the KD IV. This colorway certainly makes the sneaker look pretty interesting, but I’m not sure I’d ever get caught walking down the street or playing ball in a pair of them. But it is pretty cool that they made an appearance alongside the Doppler radars and weather maps on The Weather Channel. And we’re forecasting that they won’t be the only ones giving these a second look this month.
