Is NeNe Leakes Threatening To Quit The Real Housewives Of Atlanta?
Reportedly, NeNe Leakes is threatening to quit The Real Housewives of Atlanta if she doesn’t get her own spin-off show. A source told Star magazine:
“NeNe has told friends that if she doesn’t get what she wants, she will quit. She’s saying that she’s too big for RHOA, and that Bravo doesn’t pay her enough.”
As previously reported, execs at Bravo have given NeNe’s former friend and co-star, Kim Zolciak, her own show, and that allegedly has the 43-year-old former stripper incensed. The source said:
“She’s furious that Kim got a show and she didn’t. NeNe thinks RHOA is all about her and it will crumble if she leaves.”
Apparently, NeNe’s diva-like tantrums are out of hand, and were on full display during an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live. According to the source:
“She acted nice to host Andy Cohen [Bravo's Executive Vice President of Original Programming] while shooting but laid into him afterward and said she wants her own show.”
NeNe didn’t stop there, as she had other exorbitant demands while filming Watch What Happens Live. The source revealed:
“She insisted on her own, very expensive makeup artist, a stretch limo and the presidential suite during her stay.”
NeNe also demanded Cristal champagne for her dressing room, but the producers finally grew a backbone and told her no. I’m guessing NeNe probably went out and bought her own anyway…lest we forget, she’s “very rich b*tch!”

People like a good story. Nene is already the show on RHOA and it’s very successful! However, I do think Nene is planning to leave RHOA. BRAVO is just trying to minimize its losses.
