Question: Why in the world do we love these commercials so much? We promise, we’re not getting paid to say this stuff about the new “Are You From Here?” commercials by sportswear/sneaker company Under Armour. We simply get excited now when we see that they’ve released a new “Are You From Here?” video because they’re so well done. After watching them, you really get a sense of the sacrifice it takes to be an NBA player.

In this new clip, Kemba Walker, Brandon Jennings, and Derrick Williams take turns talking about the different things that have helped them on their journey to the NBA. We haven’t heard from Walker, in particular, a ton during UA’s recent “Are You From Here?” promo, so it’s good to see him step up and share some insights on coming out of the Bronx and making it to the league. Jennings also opens up about choosing not to go to college and taking the road less traveled to make it to the pros.

Do you like these commercials as much as we do? With the NBA season set to tip off in just two weeks, we’re right at about that time of year where we’re going to be bombarded by commercials trying to sell us signature sneakers. Most of them, we could do without. But these right here? We could watch these all day. Hell, we’re watching ‘em online and when they come on TV. Kudos again to UA for putting out commercials that we can actually appreciate. And we look forward to seeing more of them in the near future.
