Amy Winehouse’s Final Fred Perry Collection Arrives
Amy Winehouse‘s legacy continues to flourish despite her death four months ago.
In conjunction with the release of her posthumous album, Lioness: Hidden Treasures, designer Fred Perry has unveiled his final Amy Winehouse Collection. The 14-piece retro, pretty in pink collection features blouses, belts, a bowler bag, a halter dress, and other Amy-inspired pieces for Spring 2012. “Referencing Amy’s love of ’50s Americana and art deco Miami, the collection features an exclusive print scattered with Cadillacs, jukeboxes and cats-eye sunglasses in a palette of pink mist, pale blue and black,” indicates the Fred Perry website.
Ranging from £55.00 to £195.00, all proceeds from the line will be donated to charity. “Amy was passionate and dedicated to the collaboration and her signature style is clearly stamped across each piece,” said a spokesperson for Fred Perry. “Under such circumstances, the usual royalties and fees from the collection will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation. Fred Perry will also be making a seasonal donation to charity.”
