Rumors are circulating that Kris Humphries was livid over the line of questioning during his appearance on Good Morning America on Friday. The NBA baller appeared on the morning gabfest with his mom to talk about his charity, and apparently, to bake cookies. To the surprise of no one, the show’s hosts questioned him about his impending divorce from reality TV starlet, Kim Kardashian. According to TMZ, Kris is “telling people he felt ambushed” by the questions about his short-lived marriage and “knew he would be asked about the divorce…but didn’t expect to be grilled like a cheeseburger.”

Oh how soon we forget…haven’t celebrities learned anything from the Chris Brown chair through the window fiasco? When the controversial R&B superstar appeared on Good Morning America back in March, he flipped out backstage, shattered a window with a chair, and left ABC’s studio shirtless because he was asked questions about his 2009 arrest for the beating of his then-girlfriend, Rihanna. The point is, Good Morning America may seem like a safe, white-bread talk show, but that’s just a clever ruse to make celebrities feel comfortable before Robin (Roberts), George (Stephanopoulos), and the rest of GMA‘s hosts get at them like Wendy Williams!

In his defense, Kris’s rep told Gossip Cop that he was perfectly fine with how the interview went down. Personally, I think it might have been better for his image if he would’ve gotten pissed off and attacked a window with a chair before storming out onto a busy NYC street with no shirt on – maybe then people would stop thinking of him as being about as interesting as watching paint dry.
