Reportedly, Marc Anthony isn’t too happy about Jennifer Lopez’s boy-toy, Casper Smart. The smooth crooner is said to have refused to go to Peru and Chile to shoot Q’Viva: The Chosen – the Latin reality TV show that he and J.Lo are collaborating on – because of her relationship with the 24-year-old. A source told Star magazine:

“Marc and J.Lo had a tense conference call when she was in Morocco. Inevitably, their discussion boiled down to her new boyfriend (Smart) and Marc made the decision not to work with Jennifer last week as a result.”

Casper’s presence in the life of his soon-to-be ex-wife has gotten Marc so wound up, that he allegedly told Simon Fuller, whose company is behind Q’Viva, that he’s contemplating quitting the show. The source added:

“Discussions are now underway to resurrect his involvement in the show. Millions of dollars are on the line and producers are desperate to soothe the tension between their two stars.”

Casper’s criminal record is also a source of contention between Marc and Jen. The backup dancer has prior arrests for both speeding and driving on a suspended license. A source told RadarOnline:

“[Marc Anthony] went ballistic when he found out about Casper’s criminal record. He explicitly told Jen that Casper wasn’t allowed to drive their children anywhere. Marc hates the fact that Casper is spending time with Max and Emme. Marc is extremely jealous, and doesn’t think Jen is using good judgment when it comes to Casper.”

And apparently, Marc is willing to take J.Lo to court to make sure his directives are obeyed. The source added:

“This wasn’t a threat that Marc gave Jen. He will go straight to family court if he needs to get a judge involved to make sure Casper doesn’t get behind the wheel with his kids in the car.”

Things could get real ugly for Jen if she continues getting her groove back with this Casper dude. She may need to put things on pause and ask herself whether it’s really worth it.
