Earlier this morning animated pair Sofia Vergara and Woody Harrelson announced the nominees for this year’s Golden Globe awards.

With heavy hitters featured in basically every category, it appears there will not be too many clear-cut winners when the Globes are handed out on January 15 next year. There are some surprises, however—particularly French silent film The Artist, in the lead with six nominations. Categories like Best Television Series (Drama) will be particularly tight, with mega hits like Boardwalk Empire, Game Of Thrones and Homeland all up for accolades, while best buds George Clooney (The Descendants), Brad Pitt (Moneyball) and Leonardo DiCaprio (J. Edgar) are competing for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture (Drama).
