Can Tim Tebow Beat Tom Brady & The New England Patriots?
This is the day. This is the day where we all find out once and for all just how good Tim Tebow is—or isn’t—as he takes on Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Denver. This is the day that CBS and NBC bickered over as NBC tried to snag the Broncos/Pats game for their Sunday Night Football matchup before CBS stood their ground and refused to give it up. So, what’s going to happen on this day? Will Tebow win—and silence all of his critics once and for all?
I’m going to go with….no. But I’m also going to add this caveat: I would not be surprised in the least if I was wrong. First, a few reasons why I think the Pats will beat the Broncos easily: Brady is a better quarterback than Tebow. Tebow isn’t going to be able to put up enough points against the Pats D. The Pats D, though suspect, is coached by Bill Belichick, who will come up with a plan to stop Tebow. All of the hype will finally get to the Broncos. And, above all, the Pats are just a better team than the Broncos right now.
That being said, how crazy is all this Tim Tebow stuff? Love him or hate him—it’s one or the other at this point, right?—I sincerely hope that everyone out there is taking the time to enjoy what Tebow is bringing to the game of football. Without him, this would just be another boring AFC matchup that would send little to no shock waves throughout the NFL. But, with Tebow, everyone seems to care a whole lot about the outcome of this game. For that alone, we should be thankful for Tebow. He’s become so polarizing that he’s captivating both hardcore and casual NFL fans.
In the end, I think this is the week his run ends. But if it doesn’t, beware. Because all of the Tebow talk that you’re already tired of will continue on for another week. And it’ll only get louder with Tebow bandwagoners yelling about how great he is. This is the day where we all find out what Tebow is really made of. And, frankly, I can’t wait. Can you?

We’ll have to see, especially after the game tonight… =/
