Kanye West Gives Fan The Boot From Watch The Throne Concert

What idiot would go to a Kanye West concert and throw something on stage while he’s performing? Apparently, an idiot in Tacoma, Washington. The other night, Kanye was performing “All Falls Down” during the Tacoma stop of his and Jay-Z‘s Watch the Throne tour when a concertgoer threw a business card onto the stage. Not surprisingly, the hip-hop star stopped the show and addressed the audience in an effort to figure out the identity of the card thrower. “Whose business card is this? Whose is this? Drew, I seen it come from that direction, so like, all four of them gotta go,” ‘Ye said. “Unless one person raise they hand and say I’m the one who did it, all that whole section gotta go.”
As if to explain his reasoning behind making a huge deal out of a little card (lest someone thinks he’s having one of his infamous hissy fits) Kanye added, “These cubes go twenty feet in the air fam. We’re risking our lives here–so you can’t be throwing s–t that we gon slip on.” Personally, I’ve seen worse things thrown on a stage while someone was performing (beer bottles, empty cans, water balloons…I could go on), so I don’t see a card as being a big deal, but that’s just me (Kanye shrug).
Anyway, check out how the drama unfolded in the videos below:

west is a little piece of s—. my size 13 steel-toed boot wants to be introduced to this maggots face.
I was at this show on the other side of the stage. This article makes it appear that just one card was thrown and this is not the case. The guy was throwing the cards from the first song and Kanye finally caught the guy during All Falls Down, about 5 songs into the show. The guy wasn’t just throwing 1 card he was throwing hand fulls of cards and both he and could have slipped off the stage while they were running. After each song the roadies were clearing the cards off from below.
It is not anyone’s right in the audience to become part of the show. I’m glad Kanye threw him out. The show was amazing! I’ve seen everyone from Slipknot to Nirvana to Ray Charles. All shows are different in their own rights but the stage sets, artistry, sound quality, and Kanye and Jay’s interaction with the crowd are what makes this show so special.
Like his crappy personality or not, one thing for sure is that any guy that can repeatedly submarine his own career on national television and then resurrect it by putting out 1 album does indeed possess a good deal of talent, whether you appreciate his particular brand of art or not.
