Adam Lambert Blames Arrest On Drunken Behavior
American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert, arrested yesterday in Finland after a brawl with his reality television star boyfriend Sauli Koskinen, is blaming his behavior on a combination of travel, alcohol and confusion.
According to TMZ, Lambert and Finnish Big Brother star Koskinen’s argument started inside a gay bar in Helsinki called “Don’t Tell Momma,” eventually pouring out into the street. Lambert allegedly got physical with people who tried to break up the fight before police arrived and took him and Koskinen into custody. They were both arrested for multiple assaults but later questioned and then released, as neither of them were injured.
Afterward Koskinen blogged about the incident, saying, “Publicity is not easy, but also celebrities are just human. Love is not easy either, but it lasts forever!” Adam took to his Twitter to write: “Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it. [sic].”
