Maaaaaaan, athletes have all the fun. Seriously. They make tons of money. They’re super famous. And, to top it all off, they get access to goods that you and I can only dream about. Case in point: The Air Jordan III “True Blue” Roller Skates that Russell Westbrook showed off on Twitter recently. That’s right. “True Blue” roller skates, people. Crazy.

The skates are about what you’d expect them to be. Westbrook had Nike take a pair of Air Jordan III “True Blues” and put a set of wheels on the bottom of each of them. Apparently, Westbrook is quite the roller skater. But we’ve all seen what roller skates look like. Not exactly the most stylish things in the world, eh? So, Westbrook used his connections to make his roller skating kicks flyer than anyone else’s. Pretty sick.

If you had the opportunity to customize your own kicks for any occasion, what do you think you’d come up with? I definitely wouldn’t go with roller skates. I can appreciate a good slipper, though, so some sort of Air Jordan slipper could be cool. “Concord” XI house shoes maybe? The possibilities are endless. Unfortunately, we’ll probably never get that opportunity. So, instead, we’ll just have to live with giving it up for guys like Westbrook who get to wear some of the freshest goods on the planet.
