Michael Jordan Is Engaged To Marry Model Yvette Prieto
With the lack of actual basketball wives on VH1′s hit reality series Basketball Wives, it’s good to see that some ballers are making honest women out of their girlfriends.
Just days before Lebron James proposed to his lady love of 10 years Savannah Brinson, Michael Jordan, 48, popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Yvette Prieto, 32. According to reports, the legendary Chicago Bulls player and current owner of the Charlotte Bobcats proposed to his Cuban model girlfriend of three years on Christmas Day.
This will be the second marriage for the NBA Hall of Famer who was previously married to Juanita Vanoy for 17 years. The couple had two sons Jeffrey Michael and Marcus James and a daughter Jasmine before divorcing in 2006 and allowing Juanita to walk away with $186 million in the divorce settlement, the biggest celebrity divorce settlement at the time.
Let’s hope Mike puts the slam dunk on a prenup this time around.
