Broncos Beat The Steelers In Overtime: The Unexplainable Godly Efforts Of Tim Tebow

It just doesn’t make any sense. Tim Tebow should have never been in this situation to begin with. His quarterback rating could have very well read as the number on the back of his jersey and it still wouldn’t have mattered. There is obviously some kind of higher power behind Timothy Richard Tebow. How else can you explain what he’s done this season?

The six game winning streak despite some rather sub-par showings under center, the collapse of the AFC West that allowed the Broncos to slip into the playoffs, the 4th quarter comebacks that would make John Elway blush. Something is definitely going on in Denver that nobody but Tim Tebow understands. The latest display of higher power took place as the Broncos hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers in a game where basically nobody could justify picking them to win. Not against a staunch Steelers defense vs. the deteriorating Tebow. On any other planet the Steelers would have feasted on Tebow and a diminutive offense that offers little to nothing on the ground or in the air. Big Ben and his band of merry misfits were supposed to trample Tebow and send him packing. Hell, most questioned if Tebow would even get to start another football game under center should the Broncos have lost.

Well, obviously somebody is looking out for Timmy T as he went ape against the Steelers en route to an unlikely 29-23 overtime victory. The Steelers tried to snuff out Tebow early as they stacked the box and then witnessed Tebow pick the secondary apart like his last name was Brady. No, he still wasn’t as accurate as you would like him to be, but 316 yards in the air against the Steelers is pretty friggin’ awesome. Not only that, but Tebow was throwing the ball like he had something to prove. Five passes of 30+ yards helped get Tebow out to a 20-6 halftime lead. Never one to leave out the drama, Tebow watched as the Steelers roared back to put the game into overtime.

But Tebow would not be denied on this night. As soon as overtime hit, Tebow chucked an 80-yard bomb to Demaryius Thomas and the game was over.

Really? Did that just happen? Did Tim Tebow just do the unthinkable?

Sure did. And now he gets to take on the New England Patriots again in yet another game that nobody thinks he’ll win.

But I bet there are a whole bunch of people hesitant on betting against Tebow. I know I am.

Now that’s HiiiiPower.
