The rapper got super skinny for his role in the upcoming film, All Things Fall Apart. In the movie, Mr. Curtis Jackson plays Deon, a star high school running back on the verge of fame and the NFL draft when his career is derailed after he is diagnosed with cancer. He must find a way to fight back against his illness or watch his dreams die forever.
50 apparently went on an all-liquid diet, dropped 50 pounds, and got down to 16o pounds for the role to achieve a sickly look that is strikingly authentic.
Directed by Mario Van Peebles, the film co-stars Ray Liotta, who plays 50 Cent’s doctor, and Lynn Whitfield and will be released on DVD on Valentine’s Day. Check out the trailer below. Do you respect 50′s acting chops—or should he give up his film career before he self-destructs?
