Red Carpet Fashion At The Golden Globes
Last night’s red carpet at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards was one of the best we’ve seen in years, with leading ladies from the worlds of television, film and music showing out in jaw-dropping creations of various hues.
Mary J. Blige (nominated for her song “The Living Proof” from The Help soundtrack) hit the red carpet in a sparkly, tight dress with a feathered bottom, complete with side-swept hair and Lorraine Schwartz drop earrings.
Angelina Jolie looked regal, in a nude satin dress with a red, folded “lip” on the bodice and matching clutch.
She may be in her mid-40s but Salma Hayek is looking better than ever, dressed here in a stunning black and gold Gucci creation.
One of the few actresses both drop-dead gorgeous and über-talented, Charlize Theron lit up the red carpet in a blush-tone Dior dress with Cartier museum-piece jewels flown in from Geneva, Switzerland.
Glee‘s Dianna Agron wore one of the rare red dresses on the night, a strapless gown with laser-curt swans by Giles Deacon.
From the Hollywood glam hair to the simple accessories, Diane Lane (another diva in her mid-40s) looked perfect in this gold Reem Acra dress.
The people’s choice, Emma Stone, rocked a deep-cut plum gown with red trim that brought out her fiery hair color and green eyes.
Evan Rachel Wood dazzled in an intricate Gucci gown in various shades of green.
Frieda Pinto looked demure in a voluminous teal dress and simple black belt by Prada.
Former wild child Kelly Osbourne wore a conservative deep blue, mermaid-cut gown.
Lea Michele looked like a Grecian goddess in her metallic Marchesa gown.
Mila Kunis looked lovely in her black chiffon gown by Dior, but we always get the feeling she’s constantly playing down her beauty.
Nicole Richie stood out on the carpet in a silver, beaded Julien MacDonald dress.
The always smiling Paula Patton brightened up the affair with a ruched, strapless yellow gown.
A relaxed-looking Reese Witherspoon wowed in her Jessica Rabbit-esque red gown and bedhead hair.
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo‘s Rooney Mara kept things dark with this beautiful black Nina Ricci dress.
