President Obama’s “Celebrity Wishlist” Revealed
The effect of celebrity political endorsements is yet to be measured and sometimes their involvement can do more harm than good, but President Obama is apparently scouting a number of big names for their support as he attempts to remain in office another four years.
The President may have Jay-Z on speed dial and can count legions of Hollywood’s stars as his elite cheerleaders, but according to The Tenneseean (the publication that obtained the document) the Obama campaign has a list of 194 public figures that was reportedly distributed to a group of donors in Washington last month as a “wish-list” of endorsers.
This isn’t the full list but it’s apparently Obama’s top picks (there are some interesting names here):
