Tracy Morgan Hospitalized After Sundance Collapse
Comedian Tracy Morgan had a not-so-funny moment at the Sundance Film Festival this weekend, reportedly collapsing from a combination of exhaustion and altitude and hospitalized at Park City Medical Center immediately.
Morgan’s publicist Lewis Kay says the 30 Rock star is seeking medical attention and is in a stable condition with his fiancée, Megan Wallover, by his side. Hospital officials are reporting that no drugs or alcohol were found in Morgan’s system, despite earlier news items saying Morgan seemed out of control at the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards dinner (where he accepted the Spotlight Initiative Award), yelling and falling down before he collapsed. Kay says any talk of Morgan being intoxicated are “100 percent false.”
Morgan is attending Sundance in connection with the new comedy film Predisposed, where he plays a drug dealer named Sprinkles.
