Kevin Durant’s Nike Zoom KD IV Sneakers Are Coming To NIKEiD
Hooray. Or, better yet, HOORAY! For several months now, Kevin Durant has been wearing his Nike Zoom KD IV sneakers. And, as I’ve said in the past, I haven’t been a huge fan of most of them. Outside of the “Nerf” joints, which were cool because, well, they were the “Nerf” joints, I’ve been pretty put-off by the different colorways that have dropped so far for the KD IV. I’m also not a huge fan of the design or the way that they look. But I do have to admit that they’ve grown on me just a bit since the NBA season started. And now, I’m even more intrigued by them.
Nike just announced that they will be putting the Zoom KD IV up on the NIKEiD web site on January 31 for all to design. So, if you’re like me and you’re not feeling most of the colorways that Nike has dropped thus far, you can go ahead and try your own hand at putting together a pair of sneakers fit for an NBA player—or, rather, a YMCA player. Thanks to NIKEiD, you’ll be able to choose from a gang of different colors and play with the different parts of the shoe to customize your kicks just the way you want. You’ll also be able to add some other custom details to the sneaker, if you so choose.
Will this make me like the Zoom KD IV sneaker anymore than I do now? Only time will tell. I’ll have to get in there and play around with some different colors and see if I can get these sneakers the way that I want them. But one thing is for sure. I’ll be on the NIKEiD site on January 31 giving this a try. And if you’ve never used the NIKEiD platform, I definitely suggest you give it a try, too. It’s worth a look and gives you a whole new perspective on what it takes to put together a sneaker.
