Source: Whitney Houston Is “Broke As A Joke”
Reportedly, Whitney Houston can’t afford much these days because she’s blown her multi-million dollar fortune. The legendary singer, whose past battles with drugs are well documented, is supposedly unable to support herself, and needs the help of her industry friends to get by. A source told RadarOnline:
“Whitney’s fortune is gone. Music industry heavy hitters are supporting her and her label is fronting her cash against her next album, but no one knows when that will be released.”
Allegedly, Whitney wouldn’t even have a roof over her head if it wasn’t for the kindness of the people around her. The source said:
“She might be homeless if not for people saving her. She is broke as a joke.”
The six-time Grammy winner, who has sold over 200 million albums and singles worldwide, has supposedly been reduced to borrowing amounts of money as small as $100. According to the source:
“She called someone to ask for $100. It is so sad. She should have Mariah Carey money, and she’s flat broke.”
Whitney will return to the big screen for the first time in 15 years on August 10 in the remake of the classic 1976 film, Sparkle. Let’s hope this project is the first step towards her getting it together financially.
