Every now and then, we come across a sneaker that leaves us scratching our heads. Don’t get us wrong: When it usually happens, the sneakers in question are dope—we just don’t quite understand what’s going on with them. And these new Nike SB Dunk Low QS “Shrimp” sneakers definitely fit the bill.

First off, there’s not much info available on these things yet. Obviously, they’re a Quickstrike Dunk Low. They feature a black leather upper, a red Swoosh, and the usual Nike branding of the heel on the sneaker. But then, as their name suggests, they feature something much, much different than anything we’ve ever seen on a pair of sneaks. They feature a shrimp embroidered on the heel! That’s right, a shrimp. So, what does it stand for? What does it mean? What does it represent? And, most importantly, why the hell is it there? Well, the truth is…we have absolutely no idea. To date, Nike hasn’t revealed what the shrimp is there for. And all we’ve got to know that these shoes even exist is a couple shots of them on a grill (nice touch!) and some Internet speculation.

So, yeah, like we said, we’re stuck here scratching our heads—and planning a trip to Red Lobster ASAP. We’re not when you can get these, how much they’ll cost, or if they’ll even be released at all. But, if they are, you can best believe that they’ll be folks lined up to get ‘em. Because they’re unique. They’re cool. And they’ve got a shrimp embroidered on them! Your favorite rapper is already repping seafood in his rhymes all the time. Now, you can rep it on your sneakers.
