Birdman Makes Billboard “Power” 100 List
Bryan “Birdman” Williams and Ronald “Slim” Williams, Co-CEOs and founders of Cash Money Records and Cash Money Content, have made the annual Billboard 100 list, also known as the Power Issue.
Clocking in at #25, they’re featured on a list that includes luminaries as Jimmy Iovine, Irving Azoff and Jimmy Iovine. Rankings were determined by a combination of key factors including market share, exclusive Billboard chart data/boxscore information, and revenue.
“We got so much more we need to do,” Birdman says. “We dominate rap, but we need to dominate R&B. We need to dominate pop, gospel, country—we’re a brand, so we should be able to put out all these different types of music. We just got to keep grinding.”
Cash Money Records received 14 Grammy Nominations this year for their artists Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Drake and DJ Khaled and recently announced the signing of Mystikal and Busta Rhymes.
