First Look: Dysfunctional Friends, Starring Meagan Good, Stacey Dash & Terrell Owens
The Beatles were right: You get by with a little help from you friends. But, what happens when your friends might as well be your worst enemies?
Dysfunctional Friends is a dramedy reminiscent of The Big Chill. Nine estranged friends are reunited after their larger-than-life friend unexpectedly dies. The friends who haven’t seen each other in years are all forced to stay at their deceased friends estate for the weekend and must reconnect with each other and work through all of their issues in order to each collect their inheritance.
Produced by Datari Turner (who also appears in the film) Dysfunctional Friends stars Stacey Dash, Wesley Jonathan, Jason Weaver, Keith Robinson, Meagan Good, Regan Gomez-Preston, Stacy Keibler, Persia White, Christian Keyes, Essence Atkins, Hosea Chanchez, Vanessa Simmons, and Terrell Owens.
Dysfunctional Friends premiered at the American Black Film Festival in Miami last year and officially hits AMC Independent theaters February 3 in New York and Los Angeles. Check out the full trailer below. Will this film be your friend or foe?
