Red Carpet Fashion At The SAG Awards
The Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG) Awards were held in Los Angeles last night at the Shrine auditorium and as always, the red carpet fashion didn’t disappoint.
No particular color was prominent (unlike the featured blush tones at the Golden Globes a couple weeks back) and Hollywood’s leading ladies looked relaxed in their dress choices, everything from short and tight to loose and demure.
Just when you thought she couldn’t get any more comfortable on the red carpet, Lea Michele kicked things up a notch with a high-split Versace dress, Casadei shoes, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Fendi bag.
We adore raven-haired Emma Stone in black and she chose a gorgeous Alexander McQueen tea-length strapless dress.
A big winner on the night, Viola Davis looked luminous in a white and gold Marchesa strapless gown with Jimmy Choo shoes.
The always vivacious Sofia Vergara lit up the carpet in a berry-colored Marchesa dress and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
Grand dame Meryl Streep kept it conservative and age-appropriate in a Vivienne Westwood dress with a brown belt and Fred Leighton jewels.
Another Glee star, Amber Riley rocked a pretty Badgley Mischka dress and up ‘do.
Comedienne Melissa McCarthy, nominated for a supporting actress SAG for Bridesmaids, wore Badgley Mischka, Neil Lane jewelry and Yves Saint Laurent shoes.
A glowing Octavia Spencer (in Tadashi Shoji) won for the best supporting actress statue for her role in The Help.
Stunning Australian actress Rose Byrne gave fresh appeal on the carpet in a cream Elie Saab pantsuit.
A demure-looking Zoe Saldana chose a cream Givenchy Haute Couture dress and Guiseppe Zanotti heels.
Smoking hot actress Naya Rivera wore a low-cut, beaded Naeem Khan dress with loose curls.
