First Look: Rachel Roy’s New Shoe Collection Is Pumping
If your bite is bigger than your bark, Rachel Roy‘s newest line of shoes may help your fighting spirit.
The New York-based designer announced that her new collection of pumps, booties, and flats, owned by the Jones Group (the same people behind the production of Nine West footwear), will not be for the faint of heart. “I don’t want shoes unless they are strong and sexy. I don’t want them to be just strong or just sexy,” Roy said to Women’s Wear Daily recently. “My collection is just that—strong and sexy. It represents the woman I want to be.”
So, clearly, Rachel’s kind of woman has pockets that are fully loaded. The shoes will range in price from $195 to $600. Flats and pumps will hover around $200 while boots will cost $500 on average.
