As Creative Director of Reebok Classics, Swizz Beatz made sure he was in the building to support the opening night of legendary hip-hop photographer Jonathan Mannion‘s “CLASSIC” exhibition at Milk Studios, Los Angeles.
The gallery highlights some of the most defining photography in hip-hop history from Mannion’s legendary portfolio, featuring the likes of Heavy D, The Notorious B.I.G., Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, DMX, Mos Def, Kanye West, Eminem and Jay-Z. Mannion guided Swizz around the room personally, stopping at each photo to speak at length as DJs Scoop DeVille and Quik played west coast hits and rap classics to a rapt audience (not to mention Big Daddy Kane‘s anticipated performance later in the evening).
