This Air Jordan XI “Blackout” Sample Is Crazy

Sorry, sneakerheads. But the Air Jordan XI “Blackout” sneakers that you see here are not coming out anytime soon. In fact, Nike doesn’t even have plans to release them. So if you want to get your hands on a pair—and we literally mean “a pair”—you need to head over to this eBay auction now and scoop them up. ‘Cause that is the only place that you can get them since these are only a sample pair.

As you can see from the photo above and the subsequent photos below, these Air Jordan XIs are called “Blackouts” because they are composed of several different shades of black. They also have the standard black patent leather, a black Jumpman logo, and a clear sole on the bottom. They are, in a word, beautiful. Especially for those of you out there who are big fans of the Jordan XI.

As we said, though, these won’t be available in stores or online anytime soon. They are simply a sample pair that someone out there obtained (lucky SOB!) and is trying to sell on eBay. If you want to bid now, go ahead. But, we’re warning you: These are going to sell for thousands of dollars before it’s all said and done. And while they’re definitely nice, we’re not sure if they’re that nice. Unless, of course, you’ve got the money to burn.
