With the tragic passing of Whitney Houston just a day earlier leaving a somber feeling in the air, the 54th Annual Grammy Awards took place today and the usually stunning red carpet looked very lackluster.

Celebrities like Rick Ross, Jessie J, Diana Ross, Common, Rihanna and more almost looked stylistically confused, with many opting to appear much more casual than usual and others dressing to the nines.

Best dressed couple goes to a glowing Alicia Keys and a debonair Swizz Beatz while worst dressed has to be Nicki Minaj and her faux bishop partner. Most gowns were disappointing and off-mark from pop stars including Katy Perry and Fergie, while Common and Rick Ross decided comfort came first by rocking sneakers.
