Best Week EVER!

Two days after making an awe-inspiring appearance at the 2012 Grammy Awards, Adele—who performed a spot on rendition of “Rolling in the Deep” and nabbed six Grammys at the awards show—showed off another one of her talents: cover girl supreme.

The 23-year-old star graces the cover of the March 2012 cover of Vogue looking more stunning than ever. Wearing her signature winged black eyeliner and a curve-hugging lace frock that shows off some serious cleavage, the British chanteuse proves that if she is a little too fat Karl Lagerfeld, it’s in all the right places.

Inside the magazine, the highest-selling artist of 2011 gets in touch with her inner-model in a number of gorgeous photographs taken by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. She also opens up about losing her voice and her recent throat surgery.

“I’ve been singing properly every day since I was about fifteen or sixteen,” she told the fashion magazine, “and I have never had any problems with my voice, ever. I’ve had a sore throat here and there, had a cold and sung through it, but that day it just went while I was onstage in Paris during a radio show. It was literally like someone had pulled a curtain over it. I knew my voice was in trouble and obviously I cried a lot. But crying is really bad for your vocal cords, too!”

The singer then enlisted the help of Dr. Steven Zeitels, who’s past patients have included Julie Andrews, John Mayer, Elton John and Steven Tyler.

“John Mayer had it done at the same time as I did and he really helped me be chilled out about it,” she says. “I think I just needed to be silenced. And when you are silent, everyone else around you is silent. So the noise in my life just stopped. It was like I was floating in the sea for three weeks. It was brilliant. It was my body telling me to fix me. I had so much time to kind of go over things and get over things, which is amazing. I think if I hadn’t had my voice trouble, I would never have broached those subjects with myself. Now I just feel really at peace. In fact, my entire life has changed in the last ten weeks. I’ve never been so happy, and I love it.”
