Is This The Cast Of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta?
New York-based reality series Love & Hip Hop is spinning off into various locations after just two seasons on air, with obvious choices Atlanta and Miami coming very soon.
Based on the runaway success of the show, which traces the lives of women both inside the music industry (Olivia, Yandy Smith, Teairra Mari, Somaya Reece) and as partners to big name rappers (Emily B, Chrissy Lampkin, Kimbella), executive producer Mona Scott-Young and VH1 have confirmed Atlanta will be first cab off the rank with bloggers already speculating who will make up what’s sure to be a colorful cast.
According to StraightFromTheA.com, Atlanta-based rappers Diamond and Rasheeda are sure shots for the show, considering what they do and their positions as fixtures of the city’s hip-hop scene (not to mention Diamond’s high-profile relationships with fellow artists like Soulja Boy and Lil Scrappy). Other ladies whose names are reportedly attached are Ms. Rici, a talent manager who’s worked with names like Gorilla Zoe, Yung Joc and more and even entertainment lawyer Phaedra Parks, best known for her current role on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Mizay Entertainment head honcho Debra Antney (mother and manager to Waka Flocka Flame, former manager to Nicki Minaj, Gucci Mane and more) is also rumored to be part of the show.
The first spin-off is currently being filmed in Atlanta. No word on if a third season of the original Love & Hip-Hop is in the works.

Atlanta’s love and Hip Hop concept sounds good to me; just get some rappers guys and girls and make it interesting. No more weak rappers and their weak mates. We want hardcore, in-your-face personalities, but we also want good music; we want to see them in the studios, we want to be in the know; we want young and upcoming as well as seasoned rappers.
