Nude pictures of rapper and “budding actress” Teyana Taylor hit the internet recently, causing many to speculate if the 21-year-old entertainer may have leaked them herself. Teyana landed on the music scene back in 2008 when her debut single, “Google Me,” peaked at No. 90 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Charts. But, sadly, her freshman album, A Planet Called Harlem, failed to garner any other hits.
Since then, the Harlem native has dabbled in acting with bit parts in films like Stomp the Yard, Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming and Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family. But, recently, the entertainer was dropped from her recording contract with Interscope Records and these nude pictures have been the only reason Taylor has shown up in the headlines in weeks. So was the “Christmas In Harlem” singer the victim of a hacked phone or computer like many stars before her (Cassie, Rihanna, ScarJo), or was this a ploy by the artist to garner some much needed publicity?
Well, for now, Taylor is definitely playing the victim. At the time of the supposed hack, a tweet was sent from her account from th ealleged hackers simply stating, “”F— Teyanna taylorrr hahahahahhhahahah! Dats what happenes when u lose you’re phone bitch! DAT!!!!!!”. Later, Teyana tweeted the message, “Shout out to all the scumbag motherf—–s karma is real!!” Was this perhaps a response to her pictures being leaked?
