Kevin Costner And Jena Malone Kick Ass In History Channel’s Hatfields & McCoys Trailer
The History Channel has just released the first trailer for their 3-part scripted miniseries Hatfields and McCoys, and it seems like the once button-down network is blowing up with a big budget Hollywood spectacle.
I’ll admit, I’ve been disappointed since I accepted years ago that the History Channel no longer really covered history. (Why learn about the past when you can watch reality TV?) So when I read that History was now going beyond low-budget reenacments, I was skeptical. I probably imagined something like this:
But this trailer changed my mind. Set to the throbbing beats of The Silent Comedy’s “Bartholemew,” it’s making the story of America’s original blood feud look pretty damn raw and gritty. Let’s hope that inbetween the gun blasts and scalpings, they can include a little character development and maybe even some reasoning for why this is an important part of our national story.
Hatfields & McCoys is set to come out this summer. What do you think?

Does anyone know who sings the theme song and where can I hear the whole song?
