First Look: The New Banana Republic Mad Men Collection Is Here
Here’s a collection you are sure to be mad about.
Last August, AMC‘s Mad Men caused a fashion frenzy when Banana Republic created a capsule collection of 1960s-inspired threads based on the clothing worn in the hit TV series. And this spring, they are doing it again. Created by Mad Men costume designer Janie Bryant, the 40-piece collection will hit stores on March 1st, just days before the new season airs on March 25.
“Spring delivers a whole new palette and gave us an excuse to draw from different scenes and wardrobe from the show as inspiration,” says Banana Republic creative director Simon Kneen. “It’s been a fantastic experience working with Janie again on this new spring capsule. Janie’s perspective was invaluable in helping us create a collection that is both chic and modern, while remaining true to the aesthetic of the 1960s era.”
