Derrick Rose Surprises One Of His Fans At NBA All-Star Weekend
For a 15-year-old kid, meeting an NBA player has got to be incredible. But, you know what would make it even more incredible? If that kid got to be surprised by his favorite NBA player just before getting to meet him. Now, that would be crazy. And during NBA All-Star Weekend last week, that’s exactly what happened to Adam Turner.
Adam was flown to Orlando by adidas for what he thought was, more or less, a job. His gig for the weekend was to record a review of the adidas adiZero Rose 2.5 and post it to YouTube in order to help adidas get some positive press for the sneaker, which was completely revamped for Derrick Rose for the 2012 All-Star Game. But what Adam didn’t know was that D-Rose was going to make a special surprise guest appearance right in the middle of his review.
As you’ll see, D-Rose completely throws Adam for a loop when he decides to stop in and check out his review by grabbing a seat right next to him. But it’s good to see a kid have the reaction that Adam does when he comes through for the surprise visit. Check it out below.
