The Nike Air Yeezy 2 Will Reportedly Be Available In A “Bred” Colorway When It Drops
It’s time for your bi-weekly Nike Air Yeezy 2 update! Last we saw, Kanye West himself was out and about rocking the Yeezy 2s and, at the very least, confirming that they were dropping sometime in the near future. He was wearing the “Zen Grey” colorway of the Yeezy 2s at London Fashion Week and, while the photographer who snapped him didn’t get any detailed shots of the sneakers, the flicks offered a good enough view for us to get a better look at them. Still, that appearance of the Yeezy 2s didn’t come along with any new announcements concerning their release, so we’ve been kinda sitting around, twiddling our thumbs, and looking up the prices of Nike “Galaxy” Foamposites on eBay to keep ourselves entertained while we’ve been waiting for more news of the Yeezy 2s. And, finally, it seems we’ve got it!
No, no. Unfortunately, we do not have a release date available for you. We all still seem to be operating under the assumption that the Yeezy 2s will drop on or around March 23. But since we haven’t heard anything official yet, we won’t hang our hats on that date just quite yet. What we do know now, though, is that in addition to the “Black/Pink” and “Zen Grey” colorways that we’ve seen so far, there will also be a third Yeezy 2 colorway called “Bred.” It’s reportedly got more of a tan look to it. That leads us to believe that there may be more Yeezy 2 colorways on the way as well.
So, yeah. That’s all, folks. No firm release date. No super specific specs. And no photos that’ll blow you away. But, hey: At least we’re getting some new info on the Yeezy 2s, right? Now, let’s just hope we don’t have to wait much longer for the rest of it.
